MEDIA STUDIES

In Media Studies we have learnt how to create a stop motion movie on a Ipad using Lego's, play-do and other items that can be used for a stop motion. Stop motion movies are movies that have been made by taking photo of the motion of things and then put into a video/movie. The thing i found most difficult was waiting to take pictures and moving the items without making to big of changes.

Science - Chemistry Of Food

Battered snapper fillets with potato chips and stir fry veges In this meal there are many food groups. Protein comes from the battered snapper fillets. Protein help with growth and repair of the muscle and other tissues. Vitamins, Minerals, Fibre and Carbohydrates comes from the broccoli, carrot and red onion. Vitamins are chemicals we need small amounts of to keep our bodies working. Minerals are chemicals that help release energy from foods or assist with chemical processes within our bodies. Fibre moves and cleans the digestive system and they are nutrients that we cant break down it. Carbohydrates from the potato chips. Carbohydrates gives us energy. The digestive system starts with ingestion, ingestion is taking food into the body (the mouth). Then digestion, digestion is the process in which food is broken down into substances that can be absorbed by living organs. Next is Absorption, its where food molecules are absorbed into the blood system. The next of the digestive system is Assimilation, its when the molecules are used by the body or stored. the last of the digestive system is Egestion, the removal of undigested or waste material from the body (the rectum)
